River Baldwin was an ally of the Authority.
History
River Baldwin was one of the many people who ended up on The Carrier when it blasted off into space. The High had adopted River because he claims that River is the Spirit of the 21st Century. River helped the crew of the new Authority in protecting the Carrier from incoming Daemonite missiles from hitting the shift-ship with his powers. However, River was weakened from this. Although, The Engineer reappeared and managed to destroy the Daemonite ships which had attacked the shift-ship.

- Illusion Casting: River can create illusions by manipulating information in sentient minds.
- Mechanokinesis: River can communicate and control machinery, he can also overload electronic minds by bombarding them with useless information.
