Notes

  • A second version of the River Styx also exists in Hell, as part of the The Fifth Circle/"Wrath". This version has no ferryman, unlike the one in the Greek Underworld.[1]
  • According to Jason Blood, the Styx (or rather, the Styx in which Achilles was dipped as a child) was in reality a Lazarus Pit in Crete.[2]
  • Leesburg has been plagued by the mystical influence of tributaries of the River Styx, named "Chaos Streams", at least twice.[3][4] Both times it was destroyed.[5][6]
