Pulsar, secretly Robert "Bobby" Altus, Jr., was a superpowered young man given his powers by his scientist father.

History

Pulsar used his powers a hero, but was instructed by his father to be more and more aggressive. Soon, Pulsar gave an ultimatum to the United Nations at the behest of the senior Altus. Pulsar battled Superboy before turning against his father.
