Robert Kane was the son of Gotham City industrialist Cameron Kane.

History

He was killed when he protected his father from an attack by Nicholas Gate, who wanted revenge for the death of his brother in a bridge collapse.

A new bridge, connecting Kane County with Gotham's East End would be named in Robert's honor.

Notes

• Robert Kane is named after Batman creator Bob Kane. The bridge had been named after Bob Kane since No Man's Land; Robert Kane was later created to provide an in-universe origin for the bridge's name.
