President Robert Redford is the Democratic 39th president of the United States of America, having served in office since 1993.
History
Adrian Veidt, having been so smart, successfully planned that actor Robert Redford would be elected president in 1992 almost 7 years in advance. [1] On November 1, 1985, on the night before Veidt would unleash a fake interdimensional Squid on New York City in a conspiracy plot he knew would end the Cold War, he recorded a congratulatory video to President Redford to be played on his inauguration seven years later in January 1993. [2]
In the late 80s and early 90s, as Veidt made moves to make his prediction come true, he became the Democratic party's largest contributor. [3]
As predicted, Redford was elected but, upon seeing the video from Veidt, rebuked the claim that he was indebted to Veidt's years of political posturing.
One of Redford's platforms was extensive reparations to the families of African-Americans and other people targeted by violence because of their race. This policy was derisively called "Redfordations" by the opposition.
Due to the abolition of term limits in 1975, Redford was reelected President in 1996, 2000, 2004, 2008, 2012, and 2016.[4]
In 2019, in the middle of Redford's seventh term, Adrian Veidt returned to the USA after a long absence. Tulsa police agent Wade Tillman obtained a copy of Veidt's video to Redford, and played it for Federal Agent Laurie Blake. At this point Blake arrested Veidt for the murder of three million New Yorkers. Veidt asked if Blake intended to arrest President Redford for misprision, and Blake said that she would try.[5] However, she was technically just as guilty as Redford, having listened to Veidt's confession in person on the night of the Squid attack.[6]
However, Redford wasn't found guilty of any crimes for the next year, and in 2020 ran for office again against Republican governor Gavin Turley, who was later assassinated.[7][8]
