Robby Reed was the original owner of the H-Dial. It allowed him to fight crime using a number of superhero identities
History
Doomsday Clock

After Superman is framed and rendered comatose, Robby Reed as Human Starfish joined the group of heroes heading towards Mars to confront their mysterious enemy. The heroes meet and engage Doctor Manhattan, but they are easily defeated.[4]

- Robby Reed was created by Dave Wood and Jim Mooney, first appearing in House of Mystery #156. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Robby Reed first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in Doomsday Clock #9 by Geoff Johns and Gary Frank.
