Maybe if I were bigger-- stronger-- could cover more ground... Maybe if I say shazam again...
Robert Rogers src

Empowered by Merlin's magic, Robert Rogers became the demonic Shazam, tasked with stopping Morgana Le Fey.

Robert Rogers was mild mannered Interpol agent who was assigned with tough agent Carla Noral to travel to India in search of the megalomaniac master criminal Gungha Khan. During Robert's search he came upon a dying fakir who unbeknownst to him he was given the power to transform into a big hairy, red, fanged creature with a necklace of bones.[1]

Powers

  • Transformation: The word shazam turns Robert Rogers into a monstrous form. Charging him with incredible powers, he is surged with magical energies.[1]
    • Fangs [1]
    • Superhuman Durability: Gun shots and physical blows cannot hurt Shazam, he's been beaten and knocked around without much damage. He is not immune to energy attacks however.[1]
    • Superhuman Strength: He can lift large boulders, destroy trucks, tear apart machines and knock dozens of humans about.[1]
    • Wings [1]
      • Flight: Growing powerful draconian wings, Shazam can take to the skies. He can carry others or soar into subspace to knock out a satellite.[1]

Abilities

Weaknesses

  • Unlike Billy Batson and most incarnations of the Shazam/Captain Marvel character, Robert does not gain enhanced intelligence in his transformed state; in fact, he loses intelligence.
