Robin (Volume 2) with a cover date of April, 2000.
Synopsis for "Thrashed"
Despite living in the Brentwood Academy now, Tim still tries to sneak into the night as Robin. But with the Dean's pup dog Cardigan around, silently roaming the school area proves rather difficult. But on this night the dog makes Robin aware of some masked kids on skateboards who are causing havoc on the campus. Robin does not interfere and heads back into his room, but before getting some sleep his schoolmates come in and talk about the masked kids. They are called the Sk8Bratz and are now responsible for a crashed police car.
Next day during lunch break, Tim visits the Dean and asks to take his dog out. Tim plays with the dog and hopes he will be more quiet in the future when he is recognizing Tim at night. Indeed, Tim uses the following night to get out of the Academy and to visit his girlfriend Stephanie Brown. But they can only share a few minutes because Tim wants to minimze his time of absence from the school. But on his way back Robin runs into the Sk8Bratz and gets beaten up by them. He makes it back to school and him and Alfred make up the cover story that Tim is sleepwalking and fell down the stairs.
After school starts to learn how to use a skateboard. This should be useful because he gets an insight look into the skater scene and he needs a new means of transportation anyways. A girl named Star is very helpful and teaches Tim some tricks. But again Tim returns to school to late and this time he gets caught by the Dean himself. Tim receives a demerit from the Dean - four more would lead to expulsion from the Brentwood Academy. Still, Tim does not go to bed but instead develops a special skateboard he calls "Redboard".
The next evening, Robin tests the Redboard as he takes on the Sk8Bratz and defeats them ...
