Synopsis for "The New Kid"
After taking care of some criminals, Robin calls Stephanie Brown. But she still is jealous of Star and also angry because Robin insists on keeping his secret identity hidden from her. When Tim returns to Brentwood Academy, he needs to prepare for physics but his new roommate Wesley Thomas does not allow Tim to study this late and just turns off the lights in the room.
Next day, Tim meets another new kid in sports class. His name is Danny Temple and despite trying to keep a low profile at Brentwood, Tim gets into a race with Danny who seems to be in top physical condition. However, after showering Tim notices a huge scar on Danny's body as well as a barcode tattoo on the ball of his foot. Nightwing agrees with Tim that this is weird, but Dick suggests that instead of thinking too much about it Robin should instead step away from the daily grind which also includes his personal problems with Spoiler.
Thus, Tim decides to accompany some of his schoolmates on a trip to the Bahamas. As Danny Temple makes the trip as well, Tim uses the flight time to talk to him.
Meanwhile, the jealousy of Stephanie reaches new heights. She impersonates a nurse to get closer to Star who is still lying in the hospital. Stephanie notices some flowers on her bed table and then becomes very nervous as Star gets visited by a teenager named Tito. Size and appearance are similar to Robin's, therefore Stephanie puts on her Spoiler costume and follows Tito after he has left the hospital. In a small alley, Tito suddenly gets surrounded by some thugs. Spoiler steps in and suspects that Tito will fight at her side. But instead he runs away scared ...
