After Alfred picks up Robin from Pennsylvania, Tim goes back home to discover that he has forgotten his own birthday. While he is opening his presents, Tim comes across a mysterious box that was dropped off by an anonymous man. He leaves it on the roof for Batman to investigate before returning to watch movies with his family and friends. Robin later joins Batman as they go to the Batcave to further analyze the box. Despite having Alfred drop numerous hints about July 19 being Robin's birthday, Batman does not remember until he sees Alfred presenting Robin with a cake. Batman and Robin find out the identity of the man who delivered the box and go to interrogate the Penguin and Two-Face respectively about the man. Afterward, as Robin goes to meet up with Batman, the box activates and a hologram of an older Alfred appears before him.
