Synopsis for "Robin War, Part Six: The Daring Young Man"

A would-be Robin, Taylor, sits at home being berated by his mother for disappearing at nights thinking back to the nights where he was shouted at by Damian Wayne and told him that as long as he stays down he is not Robin.

On the green of Gotham Academy the Robin Army meet the Talons and Damian who is fronting them. He explains that he has fixed the conflict between them and the Court of Owls by becoming the "Gray Son of Gotham" which Tim, Jason and Duke are not having leading into a large brawl between the Talons and the Robins.

Inside the Court of Owls' Labyrinth Richard Grayson - having just been told he was too late[1] - faces the Court and Lincoln March, its leader. Lincoln explains how they have several Elite Talons who act as a fail-safe and will raze Gotham if the Court were defeated and how Damian agreed to save his father's city. Lincoln attempts to recruit Richard into the Court by cajoling him with stories of "Nightwing" and mentioning his mother however, once Richard knocks him to the ground, Lincoln mentions that within Damian's Court mask is a nanotech bomb that is entering his skin which the Court will detonate.

As the Robins fight, Duke appeals to Damian's humanity and his love for his father, and how he sees becoming an Owl as giving up on family which is not something Damian would do. Inspired by watching the fighting, Taylor breaks out from his depressed state and charges into the battle as Damian realises his role as Robin. And then, though the battle is won, Duke leaves the team as they stand over Travis' grave saying that he can not be Robin. As he walks down an alleyway he calls out Damian to go watch a film.

Unbeknownst to Batman's former sidekicks, Richard tells them that he did everything for them, just as Bruce would but he neglects to tell them what it took; joining the Parliament of Owls.
