The Rocket Red Armor is a sophisticated battle armor built in the Soviet Union by Kilowog. All members of the Rocket Red Brigade utilize the armor.
History
During the trip to Apokolips to rescue Mr. Miracle, Dmitri Pushkin has his armor ripped to shreds by Lobo. Upon landing on the planet, Barda asks the Lowlies to build him a new armor.[1]
After the fall of the Soviet Union many members of the brigade started selling cannibalized parts of their armor to the highest bidder.[2]

Apokoloptian Rocket Red Armor
After his original armor was destroyed by Lobo, Dmitri got a new armor made of Apokoliptian technology. According to Barda,the new armor is vastly superior to the previous one, but quite archaic by Apokolips standards.
- Superhuman Durability: The armor is made of composite high-tensile alloy with micron thick reflective sealant to shield against microwave and subatomic particle radiation. The armor could can withstand concetrated solar blasts without melting (Those blasts were able to hurt Power Girl),[3]blasts from Green Lantern,Silver Sorceress[4] and even withstand punches from Despero without a scratch.[5]
- Superhuman Strength: It increased the strength of the wearer to an unknown degree,but on one occasion Dmitri wearing the armor was able to beat a battalion of Citadelian soldiers single-handedly.[6]
- Flight: It could provide flight based on thrusters housed in the boots.
- Computerized Control Systems: It had an on-board computer that controls the functions necessary for the user's survival,its other functions can be activated by thought.
- Sensor System: The armor is able to perceive the entire electromagnetic spectrum and an expanded range of sound frequencies.
- Limited Technopathy: Although not able to control other technologies, the armor can sense, receive, transmit, and interface with machinery.[7]
- Life Support and Energy System: It's equipped with a filtration/recycling system to to recycle oxygen,remove waste and convert perspiration into portable water and a system to control its internal temperature,functioning in any terrestrial environment and in space.
- Defense System: The amor emits a high voltage shock through its exterior when someone tries to steal or damage.[8]
- Force Field:Unconsciously he activated a force field to defend himself from the Khunds' weapons.[9]
- Tractor Beam:Although never demonstrated,Dmitri knows that the armor has the ability to generate tractor beams through the gauntlets.[10]
