- Rodney Gaynor was created by John B. Wentworth and George Storm, first appearing in Flash Comics #1. However, Rodney Gaynor first appeared as part of Prime Earth continuity in Batman/The Shadow #3 by Scott Snyder, Steve Orlando, and Riley Rossmo.
