Romero is an agent from the Defense Department Intelligence, and works directly under the orders of the Director.

History

Once Tefé Holland started making commotion along her trip around the United States, her work was to follow and incapacitate the elemental, so the D.D.I. would be able to study her later. Her second directive was to kill anyone who had contact with Tefé and noticed her powers in order to keep a lid on the whole operation.

Romero did finally trap Tefé in an old machine created by Jason Woodrue years before. Once in her custody, Romero Killed Barnabas Tookoome, following her second directive, and prepared to kill Mary Conway's parents, when Agent Orange freed Tefé, and consequently, killed Romero.
