Ron Perlman (b. April 13, 1950) is a American character actor who has voiced numerous characters in animated DC Comics adaptations, most notably Clayface in the DC Animated Universe and Slade on Teen Titans.
Professional History
Ron Perlman is a American character actor and voice actor with a lengthy resume of roles across film, television, animation and gaming. Among his most recognizable roles are Vincent on the CBS series Beauty and the Beast, for which he won a Golden Globe Award, the narrator of the Fallout games, Clay Morrow on Sons of Anarchy, Lord Hood in Halo 2 and Halo 3, the Lich on Adventure Time, and Optimus Primal in Transformers: Power of the Primes and Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.
He is also a frequent collaborator of filmmaker Guillermo del Toro, appeared in many of his projects including Cronos, Blade II, Hellboy, Hellboy II: The Golden Army, Pacific Rim, Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia, Nightmare Alley and Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio.
As a voice actor, Perlman has done extensive work for animated DC Comics adaptations, most famously as Clayface on Batman: The Animated Series, The New Batman Adventures and Justice League, and as Slade on Teen Titans. He also voiced Jax-Ur on Superman: The Animated Series, Orion on Justice League and Justice League Unlimited, Killer Croc on The Batman, Sinestro on Green Lantern: The Animated Series and more.
