Roy G. Bivolo is the Rainbow Raider, an art thief and the arch-nemesis of the Flash.

History

Artist Roy G. Bivolo turned to crime, having become disillusioned with his passion when other people didn't see his paintings as being "real art". Instead, he chose to become an art thief known as the Rainbow Raider and steal famous paintings to then destroy, ruining the art for others.

Over time, Rainbow Raider became the arch-nemesis of the Flash, with the Titans comparing the hero and villain's rivalry with one another to that of Superman/Lex Luthor and Green Lantern/Sinestro.

The Titans went toe-to-toe with Rainbow Raider themselves when they were in an art gallery trying to appreciate what they saw as "real art". Bivolo attacked the museum, robbing it of its art, before the Titans chased him across dimensions into the art itself. Reaching his base in Vincent Van Gogh's Bedroom in Arles, Starfire realized that Bivolo was actually the artist behind her favorite cat painting. Though the other Titans despised Bivolo's artwork, Rainbow Raider and Starfire teamed up to trap the other Titans within a painting so the two could appreciate all art - not just what was considered "real" art - together.

• Prisma Goggles: Rainbow Raider's powers derive from his high-tech goggles, which were invented by his father.

• Dimensional Travel: With his goggles, Rainbow Raider can enter and exit artworks at will. His headquarters is actually situated in Vincent Van Gogh's Bedroom in Arles.
• Energy Construct Creation: Rainbow Raider's goggles can manifest rainbows that he can use to both skate on through the air and bound his enemies.
