Parasite is an enemy of Superman who feeds on energy by hungrily absorbing it with his tentacles, draining all living creatures into husks at his touch.
History
His powers were used by the djinn Calythos to raise a volcano powerful enough to engulf Metropolis in its magma.[1]

- This version of the character is exclusive to the continuity of the television series Justice League Action and is an adaptation of Rudy Jones/The Parasite. The original character was created by John Ostrander and Joe Brozowski and first appeared in Firestorm (Volume 2) #58.
