History
Rufus Knell, posing as R.F.S. Lenk, appeared to be an eccentric whose quirk was confessing to every murder that happened in his city no matter how ridiculous the circumstances. This was actually an act so that by the time he murdered an old rival in love, the reputation he'd developed as a crank would lead to him automatically being dismissed as a suspect.
