History

Rusty Ryan was a student in Boyville, a school/community that was overseen by retired nautical man Cappy Jenks. Rusty and his best friend, Smiley, thwarted various criminal plots in the area, including direct threats to Boyville by businessmen seeking to buy the land for development and banks trying to foreclose.

Rusty organized the Boyville Brigadiers and saw to it that their part of the United States was kept safe from criminals, spies, saboteurs, and truant officers.
