The Human Cannonball was a hero in Metropolis who teamed up with Superman several times.
History
The Human Cannonball grew up in a circus, but decided to become a superhero after designing an advanced jet pack which alowed him to crash head first into opponents (wearing a protective helmet, of course). He first appeared when he assisted Lois Lane in battling a super powered Tina Ames. He later competed with Superman for Lois's affections and subsequently helped Lois when she went undercover to expose a baby kidnapping racket. He was also instrumental in helping free Project Cadmus from the evil Adam, but has not been seen since.

Notes
- This version of Human Cannonball, including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the original Multiverse in the 1985–86 Crisis on Infinite Earths event and later restored following the rebirth of the infinite Multiverse during the Dark Crisis of 2022–2023. Even though other versions of the character may have appeared, this information does not apply to those versions.
