The Super-Human Advanced Defense Executive (S.H.A.D.E.) is a counter-terrorism organization headed by Father Time. Its main field agents are the Creature Commandos, led by Frankenstein. Their remit to deal with weird goings-on seems to involve them fighting monsters.
History
Notes
- S.H.A.D.E. was created by Grant Morrison and Doug Mahnke, first appearing in Seven Soldiers: Frankenstein #1. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, S.H.A.D.E. first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in Frankenstein, Agent of S.H.A.D.E. #1 by Jeff Lemire and Alberto Ponticelli.
