Salakk was a member of the Green Lantern Corps.
History
The DC Universe heavily changed its continuity following the events of Flashpoint in 2011. While most characters saw massive changes to their origins and history, the Green Lantern mythos was widely exempted from these changes. Green Lantern-related characters should be assumed to have the same history as before Flashpoint unless and until stories contradict them.
Like most Green Lanterns, he remained a Lantern in good standing throughout the Rise of the Third Army and Wrath of the First Lantern. When he became suspicious about the Guardians, he learned of their plans to create the Third Army and was imprisoned by them.[1] He was rescued by Kilowog and Guy upon the conclusion of that crisis.[2]
After the death of the Guardians, Salakk stepped down as Protocol Lantern, blaming himself (as did many other Lanterns) for not seeing the Guardians' betrayal, although he remained with the Corps as a member of the Green Lantern Honor Guard.[3][4]

- Salakk was created by Marv Wolfman and Joe Staton, first appearing in Green Lantern (Volume 2) #149. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Salakk first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in Green Lantern Corps (Volume 3) #1 by Peter Tomasi and Fernando Pasarin.
