Salvatore Dante was the mayor of the fascist town Sezze and one of Benito Mussolini's most devoted followers.

In his childhood, Salvatore was always jealous about his younger brother, due to Therese, his younger brother's love interest. Salvatore lived with his uncle Guilo, before he became an adult, and went fascist, which resulted into him becoming the mayor of the now fascist town Sezze. Salvatore also married Therese, after he told lies about him that he died in a gang war in New York City.

He encountered his brother, that went to New York because his uncle Guilo could only accept one of them in Sezze, and straight up ordered his men to shot them both, Anthony and Rock. His brother and Sgt. Rock went into hiding, but Salvatore could find them in a church located in Sezze, where his wife learned the truth about the lies. Enraged about Tony hitting him in the face, he ordered his men to shoot them pronto, but instead they were brought to Fulke, who ordered that they were thrown in jail, and shooted in the next morning.

On the next morning, Salvatore spoke a last time to Tony, who spit in his face. Enraged, he threatened that Anthony would die a thousand deaths before he would give his men the order to shoot. Unknown to him, the Easy Company could arrive in time, shot his men and freed Rock and Anthony. He fled to a church tower and tried, with his last strength, to snipe down his younger brother, before he could be shot down by Sgt. Rock.
