Samos City was the site of the clash between Blackbeard and Blackhawk.
History
In 1948 Samos City was raided and taken over by a bandit gang, with modern firearms but wearing antique clothing. Their leader called himself Blackbeard and dressed to fit the part. These pirates terrorized the citizens and plundered at will, until the famous Blackhawk Squadron were called in. There was a gunfight at the airport and a second one in the streets of Samos City, the pirates lost both times, and their leader Blackbeard was shot dead.
A wealthy Samos civic leader, Mr. Davorr, also perished, from a self-administered dose of poison, giving rise to speculation that he was involved in some way with the bandit raiders.

Notes
- Samos City had no national or international defenders, apparently. The architecture looks European; the people look White.
