Samuelson was the devoted and proud servant to Garguax the Decimator, and a member of the Brotherhood of Evil, obsessed with the Brotherhood's mission for them, the assassination of Rita Farr, for decades.
History
Garguax's Servant
From an unknown planet, Samuelson became a friend and personal assistant to Garguax, an alien tyrant, with whom he traveled to Earth, where they became part of the Brotherhood of Evil, a team of supervillains. As a member of the Brotherhood, Samuelson and his companions had several fights against the mad scientist Niles Caulder and the Doom Patrol, his team of superheroes.[1]
The Codsville Mission
In 1949, Samuelson and Garguax were summoned by the Brotherhood's leader, The Brain, and his faithful gorilla companion, Mallah, giving Garguax's introduction, they were ordered to find and assassinate actress Rita Farr with a special blaster in Codsville Mountain Resort. The duo went to the resort, where they hid several of their weapons, awaiting the Brotherhood's signal, while hanging out with the other people.
Bad news on the mission
While at the resort, Samuelson and Garguax never received any calls, although they remained hopeful, however, in 1957, Samuelson informed Garguax in the newspaper revealing that the Brotherhood had been defeated by Caulder's Doom Patrol, saddening Garguax that he was unable to comply. The mission. Unlike Garguax, who began to leave evil behind to live a quiet life, Samuelson stayed with the hope of one day honoring the Brotherhood's legacy, killing Rita if she came to the resort.
In 2021, Samuelson and Garguax were still at the resort, visiting the diner, noticing that a group of Metahumans had settled in the place. While eating dinner, Samuelson learned that Garguax befriended Cliff Steele, a robot, before being confronted by Cyborg, a cybernetic vigilante, whom he taunted.
Completing the mission
Samuelson realized that Rita was with the group of metahumans, who also had a relationship with Caulder, deciding to fulfill the mission until Garguax chose to go ahead to let the team rest, angering Samuelson, claiming for all the time they waited, to though Garguax thanked him for his services, finally leaving the evil. When they left, Samuelson saw the Brotherhood's warning about killing Rita, so he used the blaster to kill Garguax, who tried to warn the team, although it was too late, and promptly, Samuelson killed Crazy Jane, a girl with 64 personalities, Cliff, Cyborg, and Rita, accomplishing their mission, leaving the resort.[1]
