Sanderson Hawkins was Sandy the Golden Boy, then Sand, and sidekick of his mentor, Wesley Dodds.

History

After Dodds died, Hawkins took up the mantle of Sandman. As the results of his powers, he is ageless. He joins the Justice League when Superman comes out of retirement. He died at the Gulag battle from the U.N. nuclear bombing.
