Collects nine standalone stories from Neil Gaiman's Sandman, comprising all the issues initially published under the Distant Mirrors and Convergences labels, as well as the Orpheus special and a seven-page one-shot from Vertigo Preview #1.

Notes
- Unique among Sandman collections, no attempt is made to arrange the stories by publication order or in-story chronology; indeed, "Fear of Falling" is placed before even Wolfe's introduction and the contents page.
