Notes
- This was the first published collection of Sandman (Volume 2), predating even Preludes and Nocturnes. According to Gaiman, it was rushed to meet an advertising agreement with Rolling Stone, being released only a week after Sandman #16 had begun distribution.
- Later (post-1997) editions of this collection generally exclude Sandman #8, leaving it exclusive to the Preludes and Nocturnes collection.
