Trivia

  • The acrobat costume that Wesley is forced to choose is the ridiculous costume created by Jack Kirby that is later worn by the golden age Sandman. Despite Kirby's later legendary status in the industry, this costume is often viewed by fans as a turning point in the Sandman's adventures and is rarely remembered fondly. This issue pokes fun at the costume accordingly by having Wesley wonder what the hell he was thinking in choosing to wear it to the ball.
