Lady Shiva was one of the most skilled assassins on the planet and a member of the League of Assassins.

History

Shiva had a child with the super criminal Bane after he famously broke the Bat and went into hiding.

Thirty years after Jean-Paul Valley became Batman, Shiva and her son organized a revolution in Gotham to depose Valley from his role and replace him with the original Batman Bruce Wayne. Though they succeeded, Shiva and her son were betrayed by Bruce Wayne and murdered - the years in isolation having turned him bitter - and he filled the void of tyranny that Valley had left behind.
