Scalpel is one of the Humanites, an agent of the Ultra-Humanite.
History
Anya was one of the many children left orphaned by the destruction of Earth. She was taken in and genetically re-engineered by the Ultra-Humanite and turned into a living weapon. When Green Lantern gave up his powers she was sent along with the other Humanites to steal the Pandora Vessel from Fury.[1] During the attack she mortally wounded Captain Steel.[2]

- Flight Anya has the ability to fly.[1]
- Energy Construct Creation: Scalpel can create energy blades capable of cutting even through Captain Steel's bones.[2]
