The Schemer src

The Schemer was an enemy of the Blackhawks.

In 1958, the Schemer and his gang dug up and stole a freshly-buried Blackhawk time capsule, filled with blueprints and prototypes of advanced weapons and other dangerous inventions. Hendrickson pursued the gang's trailer-truck, got aboard it, and retrieved the blueprints and manuals, but the crooks got away with the devices.

The Schemer's gang used the stolen Electronic Jet-Drone to stage an episode of looting in Center City, but the Blackhawks arrived and corralled them. The Schemer himself fled the fight scene and activated an extremely dangerous Blackhawk invention: the B-61 Machine. This was a disintegrator ray mounted on a hovering platform that could fly. Hendrickson, again, got aboard the machine and captured him.
