Synopsis for "Scooby-Doo, WHEN Are You?"
Professor Einstone, renowned scientist of Bedrock, accidentally transports the Mystery, Inc team far into the past with the use of his newly invented time machine. Unable to send them back to their own time, Einstone asks his friend and neighbor Fred Flintstone to take them in while he works on redesigning his time machine. As Scooby and the gang marvel at how similar the stone age is to their modern lifestyle, Fred introduces them to the rest of the family. During dinner, Wilma reminds Fred that he promised to take her and the Rubbles to the opera, but Fred is scared to go because of the rumors that the opera house is haunted. Scooby's Fred then states that they have to go, as ghosts are right up their alley.
The evening, as the opera is starting, a mysterious man in a cape calling himself the Phantom of the Operrock swings in on stage and threatens the singers and audience. While the crowd flees, Wilma suspiciously rushes up to the Phantom, believing it to be Fred in disguise attempting to get out of his promise. Fred proves her wrong by walking up behind her, and they both flee for their lives as the Phantom attacks the orchestra. Shaggy and Scooby, hiding under a pair of turtle shell timpani drums with the Rubbles, keep quiet as the Phantom walks past them. But Barney is unable to control Bamm-Bamm, who reaches out and grabs the Phantom's big toe and slamming the ghoul repeatedly to the ground until he's knocked senseless. They pull the mask off to reveal millionaire Flint Pumice, whose plan was to scare the ticket buyers away so the opera house would close and be forced to sell, giving him the land to build the world's first shopping mall.
Back at the Flintstone's house, Einstone reveals that it will take three or four years before he can design a time machine to send Scooby and the others back into the future. Fred says they don't have to wait, and calls his friend Gazoo to help. But it looks like the Great Gazoo may have overshot, when Scooby and the gang find themselves running on the treadmill outside George Jetson's home!
