The Sear Group was an international terrorist cult that worshipped the god Ares.
History
The members of this cult are infected with the Maru Virus that makes them kill until they are stopped or until the virus kills them. This group committed countless acts of terrorism all around the globe. They soon caught the attention of the U.S. Military who sent soldiers to take down this organization. However, the first group of these soldiers' plane crashed on Themyscira. All of them men died, with the exception of Steve Trevor.[3] He returned to the outside world and defeated the Sear Group with the help of Wonder Woman around the world. [4]
