- Infernal Empowerment: Faust's magical powers are infernal (demonic) in nature due to being in part granted to him by the demon, Nebiros.[1]
Weaknesses
- Power Instability: Sebastian is unable to completely control his power to suck the souls of others administered through his eyes or physical touch, forcing him to wear sunglasses to mitigate from it's effects and avoid intimate contact with others.[1]

- Sebastian is considered a celebrity student in Mystik U due to his connection to his father, being second in infamy/populaity only to Zatanna.[2]
