Selina Kyle, as Catwoman, was a Gotham City thief.
History
She was aware of Batman's secret identity, and when the government - and Superman - came down hard on him, she decided to help him, because she felt Gotham needed the Batman. She burgled Lex Luthor's Gotham office and stole a chunk of Kryptonite. Though she gave it to Batman for free, she demanded $70,000 and a dinner date. Bruce and Selina later go on the date at a party in Las Vegas, during which a robbery by Captain Cold occurred, only to be foiled by the Flash.
Bruce eventually took her to a boxing game in Las Vegas between Ted Grant and Cassius Clay.
