History
Selina Kyle's mother abandoned her when she was a baby. She became a thief for survival and eventually turned into a vigilante, partnering with the vigilante Batman. The two developed a romance and she unexpectedly became pregnant, which left her unhappy as she thought she would have to settle down. Because of this, she continued fighting crime alongside Batman while pregnant. Later, she gave birth to a daughter named Helena whom she would come to love despite her reluctance. She would alternate shifts with Batman every night, with the other partner taking care of baby Helena. Even in her widowhood and after retiring as Catwoman, Selina acted as someone who won't simply settle down into a normal life and remarked that unlike her, Helena managed to make every situation look good just like her father.[1]
