Sensation Comics #2 is an issue of the series Sensation Comics (Volume 1) with a cover date of February, 1942.

Synopsis for Wonder Woman: "The Menace of Doctor Poison"

While Diana is helping Steve recover from the injuries sustained in their earlier adventure, they are abducted by a pair of disguised Gestapo agents. The agents take Diana and Steve to a deserted mansion in the South, where they are met by Doctor Poison, the masked chief of the Nazis' Poison Division. Doctor Poison attempts to force military secrets from Steve via truth serum, but Diana manages to secretly sabotage the needle, allowing Steve to feed the Nazis false information.

Satisfied, Doctor Poison orders that Steve and Diana be confined in separate rooms until further notice, and resumes development of the Nazis' latest weapon: Reverso, a drug which compels victims to do the exact opposite of what they are told. As soon as Diana is left alone, however, she changes into Wonder Woman and escapes the mansion. Wonder Woman is determined to rescue Steve, but realizes that a direct assault would endanger his life, as Doctor Poison has him under heavy armed guard.

Overnight, Doctor Poison's men contaminate a local Army camp's water with Reverso, sowing chaos among the recruits and damaging their morale. Meanwhile, Diana travels to Holliday College in search of Etta Candy, a sorority and band leader whom she'd previously befriended as Nurse Diana Prince. With Etta's help, Wonder Woman assembles a team of one hundred college girls, disguises them as a marching band, and "invades" Doctor Poison's mansion.

The Nazi spies underestimate the harmless-looking girls marching on their headquarters, and are quickly seduced and overwhelmed. With Steve's life no longer at risk, Wonder Woman quickly rescues him, then confronts Doctor Poison and reveals the dreaded scientist to actually be a woman. The enraged Doctor Poison - in reality Princess Maru of Japan - is quickly subdued by Etta, and forced to surrender Reverso's antidote to Steve.

Upon his return to the military hospital, Steve becomes a national hero. He continues to insist, however, that Wonder Woman be given all of the credit.

Synopsis for Mr. Terrific: "The One-Man Benefit Show"

Two thugs burst into the studio of violinist Ivanovitch Bizochki, took his violin, and warned him not to do any concerts for the next three weeks. Terry Sloane saw the two thugs walking down the street with a violin case and confronted them in his Mister Terrific guise out of suspicion. When Mister Terrific chased a thug carrying the violin case, the thug abandoned it, allowing the hero to catch it and returned it to Bizochki.

Terry returned to his office where he found Wanda Wilson, who thanked him for saving her and revealed that she knew that he was Mister Terrific. Wanda offered to help him, so he instructed her to investigate a boys' home that Bizochki had mentioned. When she arrived, she learned that they were in need of money, then met a banker named Hugo Snitz, who claimed to be working for an anonymous client.

After Wanda reported back to Terry, he changed into his Mister Terrific guise and learned that Snitz had been intimidating Bizochki, a boxer, and a circus performer in order to stop them from performing at a fundraiser. Instead of attacking Snitz and his accomplices, the next day, Mister Terrific summoned Bizochki, the boxer, and the circus performer to the headquarters of the Fair Play Club and urged them all to continue with their performances, despite facing threats.

When Snitz learned that the performances would still happen, he had his men put on disguises and drug the performers, rendering them unconscious. Terry decided to take the places of Bizochki, the boxer, and the circus performer in order to avoid losing the audience's money. After his performances, Terry changed into his Mister Terrific guise and intimidated Snitz into confessing to attempting to sabotage the fundraiser for the boys' home.

Synopsis for Gay Ghost: "Voyage of Villainy"

In Ireland, Deborah complained about Charles, who was possessed by the Gay Ghost, not driving, so Keith/Charles decided to start driving, although recklessly, causing destruction. When they arrived in Dublin, they decided to return to America. Meanwhile, four criminals recognized Deborah and planned to swindle her out of money. Keith/Charles and Debby learned that the criminals had bought the last tickets, so the Gay Ghost stole the criminals' wallets. When Keith/Charles and Debby were about to board a ship called the Sheldrake, the criminals rushed to accuse them of stealing their tickets, but failed to expose them.

However, the criminals still made it on the Sheldrake. A man named Hugo offered to sell a counterfeit diamond necklace to Debby in order to swindle her, while a man named Kurt held the captain at gunpoint, and a woman named Nita held a seance. The Gay Ghost spotted a man named Kurt attempting to loot money from the ship. Kurt shot his gun at the Gay Ghost and was frightened when he saw bullets phase through him, as well as being attacked by his sword. He ran to Nita and Hugo and warned them about the Gay Ghost, making Nita and other attendees of her seance believe that she could actually raise the dead. Kurt became angry, believing that Nita had conspired with the Gay Ghost to stop him from stealing the captain's money. When Kurt confronted Nita, the Gay Ghost frightened them both by holding up a lamp. He came to Debby and revealed that the necklace she had received and paid for was a fake.

He returned to Charles' body after some other passengers believed him to be dead, while Debby confronted Hugo, but was taken hostage by his accomplices. The Gay Ghost left Charles' body behind again, defeated the criminals, and saved Debby. Then, a crew member confronted the criminals after receiving information that they were wanted from Rangoon to San Francisco.
