The new fencing instructor at Holliday College, Don Enrago, gets in an argument with Marcia about the motivations and drives needed for fencing. She insists that the athletic competition and thrill is enough while he calls for a need for bloodlust. In order to prove his point he challenges her to a match, which she near instantaneously and quite easily wins. His fury at having lost seems to abate quite quickly, with him conceding her point, but secretly he is so angry at having been defeated by a girl he's planning to escalate things to killing her and several of his other students.

Synopsis for Sargon: "The Cage of Lightning"

When wealth Miss Morevilt is told only a "magician" could reliably cut the world's biggest diamond, that's exactly who she decides to recruit. Sargon's enlisted to cut the diamond as his next performance, but as soon as he slices it in two with his bare hand, he's suddenly felled by a group of thieves wielding lightning-spitting weaponry. At the hideout of Voltini, the electric villain behind this, he demands Sargon finish carving the diamond into smaller ones for him to sell. Unfortunately for Voltini, this allows Sargon to create an entire swarm of animated diamonds he can use to pelt the villains as well as free himself and his captive employer.
