Synopsis for Dr. Pat: "Dr. Pat's First Love!"

Dr Pat Windsor answers an ad for a physician in the Black Hills. As she arrives at her location, she is shot at and finds the local rural hospital on fire. She observes that the local Dr is still trapped inside the building and sets out to rescue him. As she comes out of the building with the old Dr, she is met by a roaming reporter who takes her picture and introduces himself as Sam Burgess. The local Dr explains that the people in the area are prone to superstition and tend to distrust doctors. They tend to seek help from a local healer named Caleb Moss who deals in spells and magic. The old doctor gradually earned the respect of locals but now required help to assist him with demanding case loads. Dr Pat pledges to help the local Dr and starts making house calls.

As Dr Pat makes her rounds she encounters a little girl named Julie Huston. The little girl frantically waves down Dr Pat shouting that a little baby had drowned. Dr Pat enters the Huston house and asks to examine the baby but she is stopped by a man wielding a shotgun who refuses to let Dr Pat examine the infant. Sensing the desperate situation, Dr Pat subdues the gun toting man and begins to administer artificial respiration on the baby. To her relief, the baby comes to life and is placed safely in her mothers arms. The family bids farewell to Dr Pat and they express their gratitude.

As weeks progress word spreads of Dr Pats life saving event with the baby. Locals slowly begin to come to her office for medical attention. Roaming reporter Sam Burgess arrives with the announcement that he has secured funding for a new mobile hospital but it comes with a catch. The new hospital comes with its own doctor named Roy Alding who insists on being in charge of the mobile unit. Alding stays inside the Mobil hospital as Dr Pat and elderly Dr Michaels make their rounds. At one point the hospital is sabotaged and rolls downhill with Dr Alding trapped inside. Dr Pat and Dr Michaels have to rush to stop the mobile unit and rescue Dr Alding who was trapped inside. It is revealed that the person that set the mobile unit downhill was none other than Caleb Moss, the local healer that was trying to discredit the doctors. He was apprehended by the gunman that Dr Pat subdued at the Huston home. He wanted to repay the doctor for saving the Huston baby.
