Sergeant Steel is a cybernetically enhanced super soldier from Earth 2 and a member of the Wonders of the World.

History

Origins

Sergeant Steel was born on the Earth 2 created by Fury with the Pandora Casket and presumably became a soldier before becoming a member of the americommando program. Despite being succesfully turned into a cyborg the program was considered a failure and shut down, leaving him as the only wonder on Earth 2.

Wonders of the World

Years after the Ultra-Humanite had become the de-facto leader of the planet Sergeant Steel became a member of an underground movement that aimed at overthrowing his shadow government. He was able to discover that the Wonders of the World were about to enter in sync with his reality and intercepted John Grayson, Huntress and Batman before the Ultra-Humanite's forces could and took them to his base. After the Humanite's Sandmen engaged the rest of the Wonders Batman led an attack on the Humanite's base, but not before he could release his ultimate weapon: a mind controlled Green Lantern.

Despite being defeated alongside John and Huntress Batman succeded in distracting the Humanite long enough for Green Lantern to get free of his mind control and kill his captor.

In the following six month he became a member of the Wonders and, while going to one of their weekly meetings, stopped to foil a bank robbery before reaching the meeting to share the info that he had gathered on the newest superhuman threats.

Powers

• Cybernetic Enhancement: Sergeant Steel was turned into a cyborg by the americommando program.
  • Superhuman Strength: Sergeant Steel's strength was enhanced to superhuman levels and he is now able to easily overpower common humans.
  • Superhuman Durability: Sergeant Steel's body is more resistant to kinetic impacts than the body of an ordinary human.

• Firearms: Sergeant Steel is trained in the use of guns.
• Espionage: Sergeant Steel was a member of a secret underground movement.
• Surveillance: Sergeant Steel was able to keep up with current events despite hiding underground.
