The Seven Men of Death were a faction of the League of Assassins.

Talia al Ghul summoned them to Gotham City in order to recover the Suit of Sorrows that had been taken by the Order of Purity and they attacked their headquarters, killing their leader but in the end they were stopped by their enforcer, Azrael. Later, they would act as Talia's personal bodyguards.

A short time later, the Seven were sent back to Gotham in order to find and eliminate the reporter Vicki Vale before she could reveal the truth about Batman. However, they were stopped by several vigilantes and agents of Oracle.
