Synopsis for "Burn, Witchboy! Burn!"

Klarion Klarion and Teekl return to Limbo Town, but Klarion is captured. When he tries to explain that there is a world beyond Limbo Town, the witches respond by taking action to burn Klarion at the stake for blasphemy. Before he can be burned, Melmoth arrives and Klarion runs to ring the alarm bell. There, he is confronted by Submissionary Judah, who had been gravely wounded in his previous encounter with Klarion. Judah, realizing the imminent danger facing the town and accepting his own death, names Klarion as his successor, teaching him how to become a Horigal. Klarion merges with Teekl, attacks Melmoth's forces, and knocks Melmoth into a fire. Severely burned, Melmoth boasts that he is immortal and retreats. Afterwards, Klarion is offered the chance to become a full-time submissionary, but declines. Instead, he returns to the Blue Rafters.
