Synopsis for "Home by Christmas"

In a quiet, snow-covered Italian field on Christmas Eve, Rock & Easy Co are attacked by a Nazi Company and the fighting soon turns hand-to-hand. The battle ends the next morning and only Lonesome is missing. Did he go AWOL? Rock is determined to find him and bring him back. Lonesome was a Kansas farmer and carried a photo of his family everywhere. He proved an excellent soldier during all of Easy's combat missions, but he was determined to be back home by Christmas to help on the farm. Rock finds Lonesome inside a farmhouse helping the family trim their Christmas tree. The farmhouse is shelled by a Tiger, that Lonesome and Rock take out with their machine guns and grenades. The duo return to Easy before Lonesome is found missing. "A GI's home is his foxhole," Rock says, and thus Lonesome is Home for Christmas.

Synopsis for "The Last Knight"

During the American Civil War, a young Confederate bugle boy participates in a charge against the Union Army as the Captain of the Savannah Volunteers leads his troops like a knight in shining armor. But eventually, the Savannah Volunteers are cut down including their Captain. Only the bugle boy remains, who then picks his Captain's cavalry sword and makes a futile charge against the Union lines. After the bugle boy is shot, a Union soldier attempts to pilfer the boy's sword from his hand but is stop by his commanding officer, who allows the sword remain with the boy.
