Synopsis for "Flower Power"

A pair of American soldiers come into a French town where a local girl welcomes them with a bouquet of flowers. But one of the soldiers, Harry, very rudely drops the flowers, as he believes the girl must have done the same thing when giving them to the Germans.

Some time later, a German half-track comes into the town. While the American soldiers hide behind a building, the French girl gives her bouquet to one of the German drivers. But as the girl suddenly runs away, the half-track explodes. Turns out she has hidden a bomb inside the bouquet. Harry now takes back what he previously said and picks up the girl's flowers.

Synopsis for "The First American Kamikaze"

On March 13, 1945, Marine pilot Larry Dexter witnessed the aircraft carrier USS Franklin as it was relentlessly attacked by Japanese bombers, which claimed the lives of over 700 of her crew. One week later, Dexter took off on a combat air patrol and was shortly shot down, by a Japanese Zero fighter. He swam up to the shore of a Japanese airfield, where he was found by a Japanese pilot. Dexter managed to kill the pilot, and disguised himself in the man's flight suit.

Dexter found himself posing as a kamikaze pilot, and planned to fly back to his fleet, while trying to avoid friendly fire, from his fellow pilots and AA-guns, before sending his plane into the sea, and swimming to safety. But as Dexter flew above and was about to splash down, he saw a kamikaze plane having slipped through, and making a beeline for an aircraft carrier. His plane only loaded with grenades, Dexter made the ultimate sacrifice by hurtling his plane right into the kamikaze, destroying both planes, and pilots, but saving the carrier in the process.
