Shaa is a member of the Red Lantern Corps.

History

Shaa was a young girl from the planet Tharnn. Every summer, Khunds would come to her homeworld to hunt her people and eat them as a tradition that went on for years until the day Dex-Starr, attracted by the anger of Shaa's people, attacked the Khunds and freed Shaa.

Inspired by Dex-Starr, Shaa helped setting some of her people free and together they joined Dex-Starr in battle but after the Red Lantern was defeated and one of Shaa's friends was killed the young girl was pervaded by a strong anger that in the presence of the Dex-Starr's ring turned her into a Red Lantern by generating a new ring.

Shaa quickly killed the Khund leader and with Dex-Starr at her side, she led her people in a worldwide Khund hunt that would become a new tradition called "Tourist Season".
