Synopsis for "Execution Day"

Kathy George wanders America, haunted by the time that she saw her parents brutally murdered by serial killer Troy Grenzer and her boyfriend Roger killed by a police officer in the attack. On the morning of Grenzer's execution, she is hoping to finally find peace but when he is set to be electrocuted, a mysterious event occurs on the site, and Shade and the American Scream materialize on this plane. Shade is weakened and asks Kathy to drive him away from the penitentiary where Grenzer was to be killed but the Scream is strong enough to inhabit the minds of several mental patients, killing them all.

The duo drive to a motel where he explains that he was inhabiting Grenzer's body. Unknown to them, the FBI's Mister Stringer is tracking them. They have recovered the body of a creature that has sprung from Shade's mind but it quickly dissolves.

At the motel, Kathy gets the nerve to kill Grenzer but Shade pleads that he's not the killer but a being from the planet Meta who is controlling Grenzer's body. To prove it, he materializes Kathy's parents and boyfriend from her subconscious but a lifelike version of Grenzer appears as well and attacks her. Shade is too weak and confused to control his M-Vest and she has to kill the psychic manifestation of Grenzer herself.

Once she does, she sees Shade levitating above her, bathed in light. She is convinced and the two determine that they will work together—Kathy has nothing to live for and she is no longer going to be haunted by the murder of her loved ones, now that she has killed Grenzer in her mind. As they come to an agreement, local police barge into the hotel room, thinking they have found the escaped murderer. Shade conjures up a vision of an anthropomorphic electric chair and the police faint from shock. The two hit the road, knowing that the M-Vest will release madness in this world.
