It is an adaptation of Shayera Thal/Hawkgirl. The original character was created by Gardner Fox and Joe Kubert and first appeared in The Brave and the Bold #34.

- Hawkgirl's first appearance in Super Friends continuity was in the form of a statue in Limited Collectors' Edition #C-41. Her first full appearance was Super Friends #7.
