Synopsis for "The World's Mightiest Race"

Mister Atom challenges Captain Marvel at a car race in Indianapolis. He races with his head attached to a supercar, but Captain Marvel builds the lightning-powered Shazamobile and wins the race. Mr. Atom reattaches his head and attacks Marvel, who manages to hit him so hard the robot's sent into orbit around the sun.

  • Dudley wears a mustache in order to look like Mentor, a character from the series Shazam!/Isis Hour; other elements were also incorporated due to the influence of the TV series, such as the van, Billy's haircut and the cross-country traveling.
  • The name "Atomobile" was previously used for a vehicle created by Atom (Al Pratt).
