Synopsis for "Moving Day, Part Two"
Billy still dreams about his mother, who always had a hard time raising him while also appeasing her boyfriend. In one of those dreams, he got picked up by his mother after a hard day at school, only to be suddenly teleported into a dark forest. Before Billy can properly understand the dream's meaning, he gets awakened by Mary, who tells him that today, the Vasquez household will be visited by a social worker. She was sent by Child Protective Services to inspect the house, interview the family and determine whether the foster siblings can be properly adopted by the Vasquezes.
To ensure the inspection goes without a problem, the siblings go out of their way to hide any kind of supernatural event happening at the house. Darla and Hoppy attempt to investigate Billy's room and figure out why Shazam is burning letters addressed to Billy, until Mary tells her to cooperate. A few minutes later, the CPS agent, Ms. Sharma, arrives at the Vasquez home and tells the Vasquezes and Mary to stay out of the way. Unfortunately, Mary is a legal adult, and thus no longer part of the foster system.
Once the interviews begin, a giant monstrous bat appears in front of the window and Billy runs outside, only to find the entire neighborhood overrun by monster bats. Mary wants Billy to continue the interview, but Billy refuses to leave her to fight the bats all by herself, so they transform together. The other siblings see the battle and attempt to close the curtains and keep Ms. Sharma from noticing.
Shazam briefly turns back into Billy, who returns to the house and attempts to continue the interview. He even convinces Ms. Sharma that Tawny is a mannequin, while Mary continues the fight. She can't contain the bat monsters all by herself, so she tries to lure them away from the house, but the monsters, identifying themselves as Jeepers, have already started multiplying by devouring humans and animals. They were awakened by the magic leaking from the Rock of Eternity and, if left unchecked, will continue multiplying.
As Darla finds a box containing a series of burned letters addressed to Billy, Ms. Sharma asks Billy about his life before being adopted by the system. Suddenly, Billy feels a headache and runs to the bathroom, only to find Shazam speaking to him through the mirror. He feels the magic of Shazam changing and wants Billy to transform. Billy initially refuses, but ultimately says the magic word when Shazam uses magic to force him into saying it. Shazam flies outside the house and summons a lightning bolt that turns the Jeepers back into humans. Once Shazam and Mary have rescued the victims, he returns the house and reliquishes control of the body back to Billy, who has no recollection of what happened.
Ms. Sharma has finished the interviews and determined that the siblings are living in a comfortable environment. Unfortunately, she must put the adoption on hold, for one living family member refuses to terminate her parental rights. Ms. Sharma believes the family member should be allowed to explain herself and when she opens the door, she reveals Billy's mother, who asks Billy if he has read her letters.
